★★★★☆ · Attended: September 2022 · Review date: September 2026

I attended the Grace Hopper Celebration in 2022 and was truly inspired by the vibrant atmosphere and the breadth of topics covered. The conference featured sessions on artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, product management, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, among others. Notable speakers included Dr. Anita Hill and soccer world champion Megan Rapinoe, who emphasized the importance of creating inclusive workplaces and taking action now to drive change in the tech industry.
One highlight is the concert that wraps up the conference each year—Jessie J performed that year, and her high-energy show was a fantastic way to end such an inspiring and motivating experience.

Ways to improve the conference: To attend sessions at the conference, reservations must be made in advance through the conference app. However, sessions fill up quickly, often leaving attendees unable to participate in any sessions for extended periods. It would be highly beneficial if all sessions were recorded and made accessible through the app for those who couldn’t get a spot. Given the high cost of the conference, attendees should be able to access the full range of content and insights shared during the event.
